Anu tail is a prominent medicine used for nasya karma in Ayurveda. Ayurveda recommends instilling of medicated oil in the nostrils for a healthy upper respiratory tract and for diseases related to head, neck, eyes, ears and throat.

Anu Tail is Tridosha shamaka, an anti-inflammatory that gives strength to the central nervous system. It is an effective formulation to nourish and strengthen all the Panchendriyas (five sense organs- ears, eyes, nose, tongue and skin). It is used in the treatment of headache, hair fall, premature greying of hair and migraines. It is also helpful in balancing the hormone producing glands in the head and neck.

Anu tail cleanses the nose and eliminates excess mucus from the nasal cavity. It has anti-bacterial properties too.
